• Generated content: Questions you submit to our AI tools and the responses you receive.
• Payment details: Processed by our payment provider Razorpay. We never store your card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials.
• Communications: If you contact us via email, we retain those messages.

Information collected automatically

• Basic usage data such as feature interactions, generation counts, and timestamps.
• Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, operating system) — collected by our hosting provider for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize the AI-generated advice and tools
• Process subscription payments and manage your access
• Improve our service quality and develop new features
• Respond to your support inquiries
• Send service-related communications (e.g. payment receipts, important updates)
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud or technical issues
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

To operate BizGPT, we share limited information with the following service providers:

Anthropic (AI Provider)

Your questions and the relevant business profile context are sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy. We do not authorize them to use your data for model training.

Razorpay (Payment Processor)

Payment transactions are processed by Razorpay. Your payment details are handled directly by Razorpay according to their PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We receive only confirmation of payment status — not your card information.

Netlify (Hosting Provider)

Our website is hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and performance.

4. Data Retention

• On your device: Business profile and outputs persist until you clear browser data.
• On our servers: Payment records are retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax and accounting laws.
• Communications: Support emails are retained for up to 2 years.

5. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal (user) in India, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Grievance redressal — raise complaints about how we handle your data
• Nominate someone to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

6. Cookies & Local Storage

BizGPT does not use tracking cookies. We use your browser's localStorage to:

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly trigger an action that sends it (like generating AI content). You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser settings.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Server-side API key management (your AI provider keys are never exposed to browsers)
• Cryptographic signature verification on all payments
• Regular security reviews of our codebase

However, no system is 100% secure. You use BizGPT at your own risk.

8. Children's Privacy

BizGPT is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

BizGPT is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India. By using BizGPT, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the website. Continued use of BizGPT after changes means you accept the updated policy.
